La Faculté de médecine vétérinaire était bien représentée au Congrès ICARE (International Conference on avian, reptiles and exotic mammal medicine) à Ghent en Belgique.
Claire Grosset faisait partie du comité organisateur et elle a fait la présentation d'un projet de recherche. De son côté, Marion Desmarchelier a donné une masterclass portant sur le comportement des animaux exotiques.
Philippe Sarrazin, étudiant à la maîtrise en France, a présenté son projet de recherche intitulé : Characterization of the retina in corn snakes (Pantherophis guttatus) using optical coherence tomography imaging, encadré par Maria Vanore ainsi que Marie-Odile Benoit-Biancamano.
Amélie Aduriz, étudiante à la maîtrise à la FMV, a présenté son projet intitulé : Evaluation of the distribution and viability of chameleons in zoological institutions, encadrée par Claire Grosset. Elle a remporté le second prix de la meilleure présentation étudiante du congrès.
